We learned this in our own study.
In 2025 we ran the Othering Index on Turks and Kurds by sharing a link. 613 people answered — but who answered depended on who we could reach. Three quarters were men, more than three quarters were university graduates, and only ten people were between 18 and 25.

Reaching the right people, verifying real interviews, and enabling honest answers.
The right people: Set up to your sampling plan
Add interviewers, give each of them regions and interview targets, and watch how close each region is to its target while the study runs.
If the sample departs from the population, balance results using weighting and measurement models in your analysis.
Real interviews: Session quality scoring (0–100)
The system checks every session and gives it a quality score between 0 and 100, flagging suspicious interviews:
- Watches the time per question; flags speeders who answer too fast.
- Flags work that could not physically be done in the time reported.
- Compares refusal and drop-out rates across different interviewers.
Honest answers: Answering on participant's own phone
Income, voting, health — these are hard to answer in front of an interviewer. The interviewer shows a QR code and the participant answers on their own phone privately.

We do not track your interviewer. We check their work.
Location is never collected — the system strictly refuses location in field records. Control is exercised through session quality audit, not by watching human movement.

The notice they read, their employment contract, and the confidentiality undertaking live inside the system.
Interviewer separated from answers
In studies without identity data, an interviewer's identity is never written onto an answer; payments are calculated separately.
