Choose the research frame, then explain the purpose.
The AI Survey Copilot starts with the survey type: a short QuickPoll, an advanced survey or a scored assessment. Choose the primary language, target question count and question types. Optional sections can include demographic questions or contact information.
The generation wizard offers 29 supported primary-language choices. This is separate from the wider language and regional-variant options available in the survey language settings. Select only the personal information your study actually needs.
Tell the AI what a useful answer would help you decide.
Example: “We are planning digital-skills training for adults in our neighbourhood. We want to understand the tasks people find difficult, the support they already use and the time or access barriers that would affect attendance. Prepare ten neutral questions in English.
Do not request names or email addresses.”
A specific purpose produces a more useful starting point than “write a survey about education”. Include the target group, the experience being studied and the decision ahead. Avoid pasting confidential participant information into the prompt.
Bring a first idea or a questionnaire you have already written.
The wizard helps when you have an idea but no questions yet. If you already have a long question list, the text-based workflow can help turn it into a structured questionnaire. The resulting survey remains editable in Nuvopoll.
Use the visual and script editors to refine the draft, then inspect the conditional paths in the flow editor. AI-generated content is a draft; it does not establish that your questionnaire is neutral, scientifically validated or ready for your participants.
You make the final decisions.
- Check that each question contributes to the research purpose.
- Separate two ideas that have been combined into one question.
- Review options, scales, sections and required-answer settings.
- Test the draft with people from your target group before publishing.
