Prepare a report people can understand.
Choose the findings, order the components and write the explanations that help readers interpret them. The report designer offers 18 component types, including charts, cross-tabulations, number cards, word clouds, quotations, text, images and video.
Adjust position and size, preview desktop and mobile layouts and choose a colour theme. Monochrome and black-and-white themes can use patterns so differences do not depend only on colour.
Explain a finding in your own voice.
Add an audio explanation to a report component. Record up to two minutes with the microphone, preview the recording and record it again if needed. You can also upload prepared MP3, WAV, M4A, WebM or OGG audio.
Give the audio a meaningful label such as “Researcher commentary” or “Method note”. Keep essential findings and qualifications in the written explanation too, so the result remains understandable without listening. Researcher commentary is separate from participant voice responses.
Let readers share the chart that matters to them.
A reader with sharing permission can prepare an image of a selected chart with its source information. A chart that has researcher audio commentary can also be turned into an animated MP4 video.
The reader chooses square (1:1) or vertical (9:16) format and the chart animation duration. After the chart finishes appearing, the final image remains while the audio continues. The reader downloads the file and adds it to their own social post.
A downloaded image or video is a snapshot from the moment it was created. The report link or embedded chart can continue to update as new responses arrive. Nuvopoll does not automatically post the file to a social account.
Filters have a defined scope.
Readers can use the filters you allow to explore groups in the main study’s question charts. Each chart shows its response count. Choose whether the report includes only completed surveys or also partial responses.
Components from other studies keep their own data when a main-study filter is selected. Precomputed measurement-model results are not recalculated by reader filters either. The report indicates when a component is outside the active filter.
Interpret those results using their own participant base.
Placing several studies in one report does not merge people’s responses or prove that a project caused a change.
Control access and collaborate on the report.
Keep a report private, protect it with a password, publish general results with password-protected filters or make the permitted views public. A memorable PULSE link can open the same live report.
Invite a collaborator as a report viewer or editor. This permission applies to the report; it does not give them permission to edit the underlying research study.
Embed results where your readers already are.
Use the supplied embed code for a report or an individual chart. Set the websites where embedding is allowed, decide whether chart filters should appear and disable embedding when needed.
A news article, partner website or internal page can show the live result without asking the reader to open a separate file. Keep the title, source, sample size and method explanation understandable in that smaller context.
