Assessments

Create an assessment. Explain the result to the participant.

Define questions, scoring rules and meaningful result descriptions. Give participants more than a number when they complete a quiz or self-assessment.

Set the rule before you interpret the score.

Assign points to answer options and separate rules to sections. Use a total, percentage, scaling against your chosen maximum or a custom formula. Define score ranges with titles, explanations and optional badges.

Participants can see their overall result and, where configured, intermediate section results. The assessment score is calculated on the server and the survey version is recorded. The calculated score also appears as a variable in CSV and SPSS exports.

Plan timing and the invited group.

Configure a countdown and decide whether it begins at the start of the survey, a section or a question. Set opening and closing times. An allowed-email list can restrict the addresses participants declare.

Timing and list checks operate in the participant’s browser. A declared email address is not verified identity. Nuvopoll does not provide proctored examinations or independent identity verification.

Offer a document of the recorded result.

When document issuance is enabled, an eligible participant can preview and download a PDF or image. A4 portrait, A4 landscape and square formats support printing and digital sharing.

The document includes a number, integrity code and verification QR code. The public verification page checks the issued document record and lets a reader compare its study, declared name, score, level and date.

Verification concerns the document record. It does not independently verify the participant’s official identity, accredit a qualification or establish the scientific validity of the assessment.

Choose an appropriate use.

Use a knowledge test after training, a multidimensional self-assessment or a reflection activity. The meaning of the result depends on your questions, scoring rule and method.

The Conscience Report Card example shown in the Turkish source is a reflection activity based on self-reported answers. It is not presented as a validated psychological scale or a diagnostic instrument. Plan pre-tests and post-tests separately when learning change is the question.

Next step

A result is valuable when it can show how it was reached.
