Interviewer fieldwork

Turn the fieldwork plan into clear assignments and reviewable records.

Fieldwork management needs more than a completion counter. Define responsibilities, participant contact and the evidence you will use to review progress.

Prepare and review the work.

  1. Define roles and regions

Decide who interviews, who supervises and who manages the field. Assign clear study and region responsibilities.

  2. Set method and targets

Specify eligibility, interview targets and quotas. Train people on recruitment and participant information.

  3. Prepare the participant route

Choose interviewer-entered answers or a participant-specific QR route where people answer on their own phones.

  4. Review sessions

Read timing, completions, partial responses, refusals and quota progress together. Investigate unexpected patterns.

  5. Separate warnings from conclusions

An unusual ratio or dashboard score prompts review; it is not definitive proof about an interviewer.

  6. Reconcile work records

Export the CSV work record and match it with agreed unit rates, contracts and real expense documents.

What the records do and do not show.

Nuvopoll does not use GPS tracking. The dashboard’s quality score is calculated while the dashboard is open and is not kept as a permanent quality record. Work records do not independently prove every interview or calculate final contract payments.

Set it up in Nuvopoll.

Register candidates and the relevant organisational texts, then assign active interviewers to studies, regions and targets. Review progress through the fieldwork dashboard. Keep the anonymous-response mode and interviewer-credit records distinct where that mode is used.

Next step

A result is valuable when it can show how it was reached.
